KIRKER'S CANDY APPLE RED is a high gloss, durable paint designed for automotive and fleet refinishing when a top-of-the-line finish is desired. KIRKER'S CANDY APPLE RED provides a high degree of UV protection to help keep vehicles looking glossy and deep in color for years. Factory-packaged acrylic urethane colors were carefully selected based on overall popularity from year to year.
Mix ¾ gallon of KIRKER'S CANDY APPLE RED acrylic urethane enamel to one quart of Urethane Activator and one quart Basecoat Converter (3:1:1).

Only Mix What You Plan To Use And When You Plan To Use It
In most applications reducer is not required, however, if used, Kirker recommends the mix comprise no more than 10% of the appropriate temperature urethane reducer. Kirker acrylic urethane clears may be applied as a topcoat or added into the final coat to increase gloss and durability.
Apply in two medium wet coats over properly prepared and primed surfaces. Allow 5-15 minutes flash time between coats. At 68° F, KIRKER'S CANDY APPLE RED should be set to touch within 20 minutes, and dry within one hour. Pot life for mixed material is approximately 2 hours. Less for elevated temperatures.
Use Fisheye Eliminator in the first coat only if necessary.
After painting, mix one gallon ULTRA Clearcoat with one quart clearcoat activator (4:1).
